I don’t think it’s mere coincidence that the words "senior" and "senility" both begin with the same 3 letters. I don’t remember when (actually I don’t remember a LOT- and that’s the problem) I experienced my first "senior moment" – was I 45, 50 ? Whatever, they occur far too frequently now and if you are part of- or on the fringes of – the baby boomer generation, then I’m pretty sure you’ve experienced them too.

For a long time now January has been my least-favorite month of the year.
December was full of excitement, growing expectations, lovely decorations, and
generally good feelings among men, and then in a flash it is over- What an
anticlimax!!! January is here- the time of bills, a realistic look at one’s past
year/life, horrible weather in the NorthEast , and an extra-long month to boot!

With the divorce rate as high as it ever has been and baby boomers hitting middle-age being healthier and more youthful than ever before, many of us “over-50"s” are trying to get into the social scene,either seeking a 1:1 relationship or simply some casual intermittent dating partners.

No doubt about it, going on eBay to make a purchase – especially one involving a substantial amount of money ($100.00 and up) can be a very fiscally-intelligent move.
