It doesn't appear to have one but it seems best to ask before posting.
Advice on effective subject lines would be welcomed. E.g., I want to
seek advice on how to arrange rental of a house or apartment in WA
which we can move to from CA apartment for use while house hunting in
WA and living in until I find, purchase and finally move in to a
house. What sort of subject line would be likely to get the post read
and responded to?
Cheers,

Not the one you used.

Go to google, click on the Search Newsgroups tab, and type in your
question there.

Thanks for the pointer. Apparently the group used to have an
unofficial FAQ which is no longer maintained.
BTW, if that's a valid email address you're using I'd suggest
"munging" it at the least on Usenet. Unmunged valid email addresses
in Usenet posts are like magnets for spam and malicious code.
