I just got a free standing heavy bag for Christmas.
The one that you fill with water in the base.
I just realized that I have no room in the house for it.
The only place I can put it is in the backyard.
My question is this, since I noticed that the bag is foam, and the
spring on the bottom (that connects to the base) is steel...how can I
keep it weather safe?
Im in NY, so we'll probably have snow, and then rain.
I thought about throwing a tarp over it when I am not using it, but
the problem with that is, it would prevent the rain/snow from hitting
it directly, but wont condensation form under the tarp?
Any ideas?
Thank you

These things are not made to be outdoors.
Yeah you could put some PT wood under it and tarp it and it would be
better than just sitting there, but it still aint gonna last IMHO.
Also probably woudn't get used much, extra PITA to get to it.
Perhaps just a "white elephant" of a gift. Put it aside until you
have more room? Sell it?
