Hi!
I represent a team of researchers at the University of Michigan. We
are currently conducting a survey on people's opinions of various home
safety devices. The survey should only take 8-10 minutes to complete.
The survey is completely anonymous and confidential. We are not
selling any products, just gathering opinions.

Why do I doubt the veracity of this statement? Unsigned, posted
anonymously through google, and the web site is hosted on Verio....

I think you posted this on another thread, as well, but for the
benefit of others I want to repeat that this survey is completely
legitimate. We will not be using email addresses for "spam". If anyone

If it is "legitimate" why is it not being hosted in the umich.edu domain?

Because HRGems.com has donated their services to our group. We could have
built a survey infrastructure from scrap or used their services for free. We
went with the free option.
