My old car had leaked oil on the driveway over a period of 2 yrs. How
do i remove the oil stains without getting a costly power washer? Are
there household detergents or solvents i can use. The stain is about 3
long and 2 feet wide. Thanks.

There are lots of things you can try:
1) If it's still liquid, cover it with portland cement and let it sit
awhile. Any other dry, absorbent substance will also work, but it's a
good way to use up old, defunct cement. Kitty litter works well too, but
I draw the line at reusing kitty litter for this.
2) If it's more solid or down in the pores of the concrete, pour on a
solvent like mineral spirits, scrub with a wire brush, then do 1) above.
Let it sit for a day or two, then sweep it up and do it again. Repeat
until you're done or bored.
3) If it's completely solid, start with a putty knife, then do 2) above.
4) If it's beyond that, go rent a concrete saw and cut it out, then pour
a patch. :)
