My parents purchased their condo three years ago in Florida and the
seller supplied them with title insurance at that time. They do not
owe any money on the home. I am purchasing the condo from them. Do I
need to get title insurance since I know there are no liens or
mortgages (I take care of their financial matters)?

The title insurance will protect you from title errors prior to your
parents' purchase of the property. It does here, anyhow.

How do you know that there are no liens, and that the title
is correct? Are you an attorney? Have you done a search?
Is it not possible that a lien was misfiled, and put against
this unit in the last 60 days?
Going without title insurance means that you are willing to
bet the purchase price that no one else has ever made a mistake
during this sale or in the past. That isn't a bet I am willing
to take.
Talk with the title insurance company. They might offer a
deal since this is more of a name change than a sale.

Yes. At any time, you might get involved in a lawsuit from another
party making claim to your property (bogus or legit) and the title
insurance will at least help you financially from the financial loss
if the other party does gets legal claim / possession to your
property. I know I wouldn't buy any property from anyone without
title insurance.
