LG front load washer issue

 Hi All,
   I just bought an LG 2032 washer and dryer set and the darn thing is
giving me issue.  Has anyone had trouble with the prewash setting?  It
appears that the prewash setting is causing the machine to empty the
soap dispenser for both the prewash and the wash cycles at roughly the
same time which is in turn causing there to be too much soap in the
machine for the prewash.  I ended up with suds and water all over the
floor and managed to catch the machine on the next several occassions
before it flooded out.

Also, is there a "cheat code" to do a drain and spin.  There is a
rinse and spin option but if the drum is full, rinsing creates a
bigger issue.
