My new pressure washer comes with a 25' 1/4" hose.
With a 50' hose I'll have about 75'. I need about 100'.
Which way is safer/better...
25' extra of garden hose or a 2nd 25' high pressure hose coupled?
Instructions do warn about hooking up hose longer then 50 feet.

It is much better to extend the low pressure hose, and also a LOT
cheaper. I suggest you add a longer garden hose and use the shortest
pressure hose that will do the job. I have a 25 and a 50 high pressure
hose, and I did couple them together once to wash my roof, but I
usually never go over 50 ft.
Also, with a washer that big, be sure to use a 5/8 inch or bigger hose
to minimize the pressure drop. If you have two different diameter
hoses, use the bigger one nearest the tap. If you think you aren't
getting a really good flow at the inlet to the pump, keep the pressure
regulator dialed back a little.
