There's no safe place but a bank to keep that kind of cash.  You need
to make a bank run any time you accumulate more cash than you're
willing to lose to a thief or a fire.  Your homeowner's insurance
certainly won't cover that kind of loss.  People have been murdered
for a whole lot less than 30K.

Fireproof gun safe.  Bolted to a concrete floor, nobody will manage to
walk off with it either.

This must be a troll??????????????????????????????? However:

Several suggestions. To Ramos Scavenger Services!!!!!! Address as
above:

Having run a small business for many years; handling cash can be
problem but is often unavoidable.

1) Don't follow the same schedule for deposits; vary it.
2) Don't make it obvious that you are carrying money into the house.
pretend it goes to the bank on the way home; freqently.
3) Have a false 'safe' place with only a few dollars in it so that in
event of robbery the thieves would only get 'small amount' and leave.
The rest being in another more hidden place. Have false deposit slips
to another bank to show that money is often deposited right away and
therefore was never kept in the house.
4) Have an alarm either a real one or a pretend one attached to at
least the 'false' safe hiding place. Saying that it goes to the police
or security company etc. and they will arrive in less than ten
minutes.
Wall safes will be fairly familiar to some burglars and they will
probably know where to look for them and possibly tear the wall apart
once located. So a less obvious hiding place; maybe low down or under
a chest freezer might be an idea???? Imagination may help.

By the way now that everyone knows who you are (that is a false
address we hope?)  Maybe we could visit; and follow you home. As long
as that wouldn't "Hold you up"? :-)

Why not make more frequent deposits?  Talk to the head teller at the
bank and she will set you up with a key for the night depository and a
couple of locking zippered bags to use.  You can drop the deposits at
any time and pick up the empty bags and your receipts at your leisure.

Just leave it lying around in plain view. Nobody will believe it's
real money, and it will be safe.
