Any thoughts on the reliability of a "French Door" refrigerator as
compared to a Side by Side?
Not sure how well the French Doors will seal over time
Looking at both Whirlpool and GE.
It appears in the case of the GE that the French Door version comes
in their "high tech" version only while with the Side by Side there is
both a high tech and low tech version. I am assuming that the low tech
version would be more reliable.

Cool...I never heard of that terminology before. Everyone that
I know who has a bottom freezer swears by it. All the common stuff
goes up top at normal reaching heights, and trips to the freezer
where you bend over are relatively rare. Normal refrigerators seem
to have it exactly backwards with the freezer at the top.
The only thing I didn't see in this photo is front door water
and ice. After having those two features, I'll never go back.

Amen! I love having the freezer on the bottom.
