I have my 1 yr old Fisher and Paykel washer in temporary storage and
it will soon be subjected to below freezing temps. I neglected to do
any sort of winterizing before it was moved and stored.
How do I go about installing RV anti-freeze with it sitting in a
storage unit?
Will this computer-controlled washer go through a spin/ drain cycle
with no inlet water pressure?
Can I just dump a gallon of anti-freeze into the tub and let it pump
out into a bucket?
How about the inlet lines - will they self-drain or do they need to be
injected with the pink stuff, and how?
Thanks very much for any help - the operating manual is of no
assistance.

Pour it into the tub.

I don't know about your particular washer but many can be put manually into
a spin cycle.

Probably.

Remove the fill hoses (both ends of each hose) and hold them vertically
until any water has drained out. Loop and tie them, then put them inside
the tub for storage until needed again.

As I said, I do not know your machine. Maybe no water remains in the pump or
internal hoses after a drain (doubtful) or maybe their pumps are so strong
they'll not be damaged by any residual water in there freezing?
I just offered my advice for washers which I'm familiar with (mostly North
American models). Whatever you do, you do so at your own risk.
Did you happen to ask if RV antifreeze would harm their washer in any way?

Dan;
I did ask - the rep who answered my email ignored that point as you
could see from his reply. From past usage of RV anti-freeze, I don't
see how it could hurt any seals.
Thanks for your input.
