I need a hose which has an end setup for sourcing from a standard
threaded household faucet. In days of yonder, I've seen them sold as
houseplant accessories.
I need to buy by postal mail order, if at all possible.....

Best bet will probably be the same as I did with a similar need.
3 things needed:
1) An adapter from the sink faucet to a standard hose thread.
2) a length of 5/8 clear plastic tubing.
3) A hose repair end to fit the tubing. Gilmore makes nice green
plastic ones.
