remove cutter adhesive under tile

 hello,

I have that old saddle oxford type of tile and the adhesive used to attach
was a brand or type called cutter? anybody removed this type of adhesive and
if so what did you use to remove. I have wood floors under the adhesive and
would like to refinish them. thanks
