I run a web site to try and help out around the house a little and I
need a cheap (free) way of getting the word out to people who might be
interested in what I'm selling. I don't have the money to pay for
large amounts of advertising on most web sites, but would still like to
get the word out.
Anyone have any ideas as to any good advertising that I might can
afford?
Thanks!

Like I suggested in an earlier post, but I am sure that you thought that I
was being rude, try craigslist. It's free classifieds.

The classifieds are not for businesses except that they condone
businesses selling furniture and cars. Businesses can only advertise in
Services. If it looks like you are a business selling something in the
for-sale section, the readers' eyes will detect it and oust your ad in a
heartbeat.
