Curious if buying and washing cloth napkins is more
frugal that using paper towels for everything?

My take - For daily use, cloth napkins are cheaper. For those big
events as in ten or more people, I use paper napkins, not paper towels
as that lacks class. The reasons for using paper napkins with a larger
group are I only have so many cloth napkins and ease of clean up. YMMV

Then I guess we shouldn't mention using one's sleeve .......

May I suggest a dog? Self cleaning, good company, and a frugal burglar
alarm.
