Doesnt say anything about it in the manual.

Yeah, that's what I meant. No big deal in the taxis, just reduces
the boot space a bit, but not very practical in a hatch where you
cant have the large flat area with the back seats folded right
forward behind the front seats, quite apart from the loss of space.

Yeah, gunna be interesting to see how many jack up the price
now that there's that subsidy and a big shortage of installers.

Yeah, never did like BrizVegas at those temps.

This one is fine with the drivers window down.
Get one hell of a buffet effect at 100Kish with the rear windows
down, havent had a look at some sort of weather shield to fix that.
Dont currently have a dog, so its completely academic currently.

Its quite acceptible with the driver's window, tho noticeably noisier.

It did in the manual for my 2001 Accent. It advised not to use it
below 75km/h or when towing. Maybe they've upgraded the box or haven't
had enough failures to warrant caring about it anymore.
Oil supply at low rotational speeds is i believe the villain that can
ruin many a cars gearbox.

Luckily oil has dropped a bit recently, so that may ease the rush a
bit.

A good habit to have is to give it a blast for a minute or so weekly
even in winter.

Yeah it's not unlike our weather. Even though your weather is hotter,
the lower humidity makes it pretty easy to take.

Yeah that's it. opening the window makes you realise just how quiet
cars have become over the years. You'll notice why if you ever take
the effort to wash it (not something i ever make a habit of doing).
They don't have any edges and bumpy things on cars now, everythings a
smooth line, even the headlights blend into the bodywork.

It can be, most obviously with the very low interest rates.

period, end of story :)
the absolute cheapest way, of course, is buy a used low mileage japanese
car from a private party that has owned it since new.
i sold my 1998 civic hatch with 52k miles on ebay for $5500.
i got a good deal, and they got a car that will run another 150k miles
with regular maintenance.

<snip>
I got rid of an 8 year old gas guzzler a year and a half ago--primarily
because being immobilized by a couple of snowstorms convinced me I needed
something with all-wheel drive. I also got one of those 1.9 percent
financing deals. With what's happened with the price of gas, and the reality
of repairs on a car the age of the one I had, I suspect I made the frugal
choice by buying, rather than waiting several more years and saving up the
money to pay cash. (I had planned to drive the first car a while longer,
before I realized the magnitude of the snow problem.)
At any rate, I'm comfortable with my choice as a financially responsible
one.
