I have two "miller lite" rebates for groceries, valid in the 5 states
listed in the message title. The only stipulations are that you be 21
or older, that you mail them the relevant certificate, and that you
send in the dated cash register receipt with purchase price(s) circled.
No alcohol purchase is required.

Here are the links to the printable rebate forms online:
(took some time, but I scanned them in at 300 dpi to help you all out)

or produce, front

beef or produce, back

http://img82.imageshack.us/my.php?image=5offpreparedee6.jpg  - $5 off
any prepared food item, front

prepared food item, back

The first one is "$25 on beef or produce", and the second one says "$5
off any prepared food item".

So, basically, you can get a 100% refund on a $25 beef or produce
purchase, and a 100% refund on a prepared food purchase. $30 in free
groceries, total.

The book is out on exactly what the definition of "prepared food item"
is. At first glance, I figured this covers pretty much everything
except for meat and produce. In other words, the two rebate forms seem
to cover the entire gamut. However, my wife believes that "prepared
food item" means only items from a grocery store deli, such as macaroni
salad. Depending on how they define this, you might not get the smaller
of the two rebates. To play it safe, get an item from the deli.

I did this last year, and got my rebate check quite easily, no hassles,
no problems. Rebate came in about 6 weeks.

Why not? Airlines do that every day.

The "why not" would be the back of the scanned rebate form that reads
"This certificate must not be duplicated or reproduced in any way".

Many stores don't accept computer printed coupons because they may not

In your example you have paid for a service. In the case of the "free
$30 groceries" that is a promotion by a company that very likely has a
controlled, limited and specific distribution. So copying and printing
those coupons is very similar to copying and printing currency.
