I've currently got some free cash, and typically I look for an out of
favor stock that is 40% off its high due to one short term factor or another
in the market. No debt, and profitability of 15% a year or greater.
In the past, I've spent loads of time looking for this type of company.
However, I was wondering if there are any free websites out there that
have up to date lists of such out of favor value stocks? If so, it would
probably significantly help me decrease the amount of time I spend searching
for and narrowing down my list of potential investments.
Thanks!

I'm not sure how much of www.morningstar.com is free, since I subscribe. But
you might have a look there. They've always made their money from selling
information to individual investors, as opposed to corporate connections,
commissions, etc. I think their advice is as valid and trustworthy as
anything around.
But don't be surprised if you have to pay someone for the kind of specific
statistical analysis you're looking for.
