Has anyone else seen an increase in their homeowners and auto policies?
My homeowners went up $125 while they decreased the replacement value by
$11,000.
My auto went from $931 to $1337. Both are with Hartford.
Needless to say I'm shopping them, so does anyone have an INDEPENDENT agent
or company they would recommend?
Or even a company that should be avoided?
TIA
BTW: No homeowner claims in over 10 years and just one minor fender bender
in the last year and No tickets. Also, I'm in Texas

Get a rate quote from Electric Insurance http://www.electricinsurance.com/
For me their auto insurance rates are lower than the rates quoted by
Progressive and GEICO.
