LG Cellphone antenna

 I have an LG cellphone and it has a short antenna stub about an inch long
projecting from the top corner of the case. If anyone has a similar phone,
is this antenna fragile? I'm often worried about breaking it off,
especially if I have the phone loose in my side pocket. Or am I concerned
needlessly?

I have an LG flip phone. Had it for going on two years now.
I keep it in a case, and have to remove it from the case
to use it.  Guess what i use as a handle to pull it from the
case? Like I said, I have been doing this for two years
and it's still there.
