Many years ago I was out of town on a vacation , met this lady and
invited her to join me for dinner. She chose a very upscale restaurant
in her hotel but I decided to splurge.
The first 15 minutes were spent with a tirade about her boss
(overworked her, sent on long business trips, not appreciated). She was
on a business trip. Then she asked me for a favor. Since I was picking
up the tab would I mind giving her cash. That way she could screw her
boss by putting the entire amount on her card, saying it was business
related and,in effect, getting paid about $80 to have dinner with me. I
agreed but told her I had to hit an ATM. She assured me there was one in
the lobby.
When the check came I told her to leave a generous tip and asked the
waiter for another cup of coffee. I waited until she signed the tab,
excused myself to go to the mens room, walked into the kitchen and out
the back door.

My, my, my, how frugal of you. You must be vying for the Frugal King
crown, but Frugal Gourmet and Frugal Sex Guy are miles ahead of you.
Good luck on your quest!
