That's good to know. Are you using Page Plus, and if so, how do you like it?

I'm using it. It seems to have better coverage in my extended
stomping grounds than gobeyondwireless. I spent some time selecting
the phone I wanted - checked out Epinions.com etc., and went with a
LG4400. Spent half the day today trying to find a car cord charger
for it, since the AC charger when kaput within a day. Finally, found
a geek at a Radio Shack who had one. Verizon, Wal-mart, Target,
another Radio Shack, Staples, Office Depot had nothing.

How do you determine which phones will work with PagePlus?

In 1969, I published a small book on Humility.
It was a pioneering work which has not, to my knowledge, been superseded.

Ask them?
There's a business in the next town that will unlock phones for $20, and
you can find on-line places to do it even cheaper since they just have
to tell you a code sequence.
