Yeah, the thinking of some buyers on Ebay mystifies me. For example,
I recently bid on a couple of older Dell PCs. They were the same
model as one that I bought new from Dell a couple years ago -- nothing
special, just a basic no-frills 2004 vintage PC. The one I have works
fine for a particular application and I thought I might pick up
another one for a decent price. Wrong! The final selling price on
the auctions I bid on was about 10% more than what I paid 3 years ago,
for a brand new PC from Dell, shipped to my door, with a 1 year
warranty. Great for the sellers I guess, but I just don't get it.
