why not hire the street people to wait in line for you?
Like I didn't want to wait in a long line to donate my old computer , so
I gave a guy with a bicycle trailer with one TV in it , $4 to take my
two computers. It was better than sitting in line for an hour idling my
car and moving a few feet ahead every 3 minutes.
Creative "homeless' could have done that waiting with a garden cart.
Better for the environment, too.
I hope you have a local org. that "helps" the less fortunate. Some just
need a hand up , not a hand out.
Put this idea out in your area.

It's amazing what you can do. If...
you put your mind to it.

Fuck the homeless.

I'm not stupid enough to wait in line for anything.

Unlikely they would get much business.

You could have taken your own garden cart too.

More than one, actually.

The absolute vast bulk of the 'homeless' are either the barking
mad we no longer keep in locked wards or drug addicts.
Neither need a 'hand up'.

Fuck off.

An idea that I had is for a business that rents homeless people
to commuters to allow them to use the HOV lanes. One could set
up near an entrance ramp to the freeway, and charge $10 a head.
Give half to the homeless person, and take half as profit. The
homeless person gets dropped off in the downtown in the morning,
and is free to do whatever they normally do. The only logistical
thing would be to get the homeless people to the pickup point.
You might have to run a bus or van to pick them up early in the
morning and haul them to the pickup points.

$4 an hour! No wonder there are homeless. No one's time is worth as
little as $4.

Yea, the creative homeless person probably took your $4 and sold
each of your computers for $10 each too. He's hoping people like you
show up every day.
Sorry, we can't use your idea in our venue. While things are
depressed, nobody is stupid enough to wait in line to give things
away. The Salvation Army and Purple Heart actually pick things up at
the house. Craig's List also provides free listings where the
recipient picks up.
