Hey, where's the deflation? Where's the plunge in prices that was
promised??
All I see so far is a return to "normal" prices in gas and housing.
My food costs are still way too high. What has gone down in
price ???? I've seen plenty of stuff go up in price, but not down,
except for the return to "normal" when gas went back down to normal.

Retail price of milk is well off the high and wholesale price has been cut
in half.
Rice prices have collapsed, I bought the store brand 20 lbs for $5.99.

Gas prices are about half of what the high was.
Milk went from almost $4 a gallon to almost $3 a gallon.
Many home prices are almost half what they were a year ago, and that is a
huge drop in dollars paid.
I believe some rental prices have dropped...

Basic staples have come down, like potatoes, onions, rice. Lots of
things are down. Gas is half it's peak Most of things were driven
artificially high.
