Consumer Insurance Group wanted to begin developing an internet
presence and so we posted a brief message in this group and we were
attacked by a couple of posters. Not sure why, but those posting have
really good rankings in google. We weren't looking for negative
responses and we are still not sure why we were attacked, however, the
funny thing is how high that discussion is ranked ...

You are spamming and you use a gmail address. If you were "real" you'd
have a real email address and website. You wonder why you were
attacked? You really can't be that stupid... or can you?

Attacked again. I've yet to have anybody tell me how exactly I'm
trying to scam anybody. My website just tells about our company, but
does not try to sell anything or generate leads. Just information.
How exactly is that going to possibly trick anybody into anything?
Please explain how this can be used for anything negative. Attacks
for absolutely no reason with absolutely not justification. You must
have alot of free time ...

You are advertising. That's spam. There are probably specific groups
that are used for advertising, but I've never had the desire to look
for them. There's enough crap out there already, and you're part of
it. If you can't understand that, then there's nothing more that I can
say.

Your original posted seemed to have more a problem with my gmail email
and my supposed "non-real" website. We're not yet in a position to
handle internet sales so we're not selling anything, just trying
develop and internet presense. I was using my gmail account for ease
of use, but I've created what I guess you'd consider a "real" address
now: consumer.insurance@mail.247quote.com ... You may call it spam,
but that is not my intention. I don't really even consider it
advertising specifically because I'm not trying to sell anything via
the web right now. BTW, we are a very real company and there is
nothing false on our site or in our posts.
