As I get more and more into a frugal living lifestyle I have found by trail
and error that many generic and store brands of various consumer goods are
just as good as the name brands they compete against. For example to my
taste RC Cola is just as good at 98 cents/2 liter bottle as Coke or Pepsi at
$1.49. Wal-Mart's Sam's Choice cola at 59 cents isn't too bad either. In
other instances the generics don't even come close.
Doing this type of trail and error testing means purchasing many generic
items that aren't very good and I'm looking for a review website to help me
to narrow the field. Does anyone know of a web resource that compares
various generic or store brand items to name brand goods?
