It's almost nothing but trolls and spammers. It's not the same group I
love, the same group I grew up with. I have to search long and hard to
find any useful posts or information or to find posts by my friends.
It's truly saddening what's happened here. I am almost in a state of
mourning for what I feel I have lost to the foreign invaders. It
sucks. I am angry and but it's an impotent rage because I don't even
know what to do about it.

Well, I've never seen you spam. But why are you whinging about
the trolls? Is it just because they are lower quality than
yourself?

Start Your own version on Yahoo or somewhere that You can moderate it.

Then the off-topic stuff came, and nobody spoke up.
Then the spam came, and nobody spoke up (at least not at the
beginning).
Then people started leaving.
