credit card w/online bill pay and rewards

 For the longest time I've had a strict family budget based on:

    - set amount of cash for misc. expense taken out
    every week for fun for my wife & myself
    - mortgage/utilities etc.. paid online via our
    Bank's website
    - as many bills as possible paid on our United Miles
    card
    - pay off the credit card at the end of every month
    - groceries, trips to Costco etc.. all paid via the
    United Miles card

What it's gotten us is a free family trip every other year to
somewhere in the states for a family vacation.

I've heard some cards will let you do online bill pay.  That
means I can pay my mortgage and earn reward miles/points for
that.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for this?  Personal
experience/horror stories are greatly appreciated.

Right now I'm thinking Discover Card.  I've heard some positive
remarks about their rewards program.
