It's so much faster than IE at opening pages. Problem is that it won't
open some pages and it crashes on a whim. You can provide bug reports
until the cows come home and all they do is keep working on NEW
features.

Reminds me of when Netscape was the default for many ISPs. I filled
out the reports and never got a reply until the time I asked if it was
true that they were eliminating half the customer service jobs. Less
than an hour later someone asked for my source.
With IE even if you have the pop up blocker enabled you still got
small pop up on the lower right hand corner telling you whose pop up was
blocked. Firefox simply keeps an unobtrusive running tally.

Except that both don't block half the pop ups, and usually IE blocks
downloads taht you actually want.
For that reason Adblock plus is a very useful add-on for Firefox.

Crashes on a whim? Not in my experience. I might see a crash maybe
once a month, and I use it *all* the time.
And generally speaking, if a page can't be viewed in a browser as mainstream
as Firefox, it's probably because the people who created it don't know what
they're doing.

Now that I agree with. I reported a bug in the Mac version something like
5 years ago, and it *may* now be fixed in the version that's about to come
out. Granted, it's only a cosmetic bug, but it's still annoying.
