Safeway lets you use a phone number instead of a card. I use a dead person's
phone number. When I buy
falafel I use I'll use my ex-husbands phone number.. JK

Last time I signed up for a "loyalty" card, I put an illegible
signature and left the rest blank. The customer service person looked
at it, asked if I didn't want to fill in anything else, shrugged and
took it. So they'll have to use the old-fashioned way to find me: my
FBI file.
