I am a Yr 16 chemistry student, and I am doing a chemistry research
project,
entitled "the relationship between cost and effectiveness of solid
laundry
detergents"
I have to start experimentation soon, to attempt to discover which (of
5
detergents) is most effective.
COULD ANYONE PLEASE SUGGEST SOME EXPERIMENTS WHICH I COULD PERFORM?
I hope to perform as many experiments as is possible, but I can't think
of
too many, nor can I find many in books.
It is an important chemistry project, so simply seeing if detergents
can
clean various stains is hardly enough.
Maybe there are some experiments designed to compare quality of active
ingredients in differing detergents?
Thankyou for your help ghazal Azarfar

This is easy. Go to a public library and look up the latest review on
detergents in Consumer Reports. Do the same kind of tests they do.

Another alternative is to go to www.google.com and search for
"laundry detergent test" or similar phrases.
