somehow we got a third Nokia phone and luckily it's battery fits the
other two. so we keep it around to completely discharge and then refresh
the charge for the other phones.
and it can still call 911 and it has a nifty flashlite .

Doing that is just a holdover from the days of Ni-Cd batteries and it
actually reduces the service life of newer battery technology batteries.

Yeah, thats one major advantage with Nokias, they dont change the battery design
often.
