Lately getting on a health kick, straying away from white bread. I see
at the supermarket, various types of whole wheat bread....other than
the usual w w bread, there's Split w.w and honey w.w...could someone
tell me are they all good as whole wheat, and why the variations?
Plus, they are not cheap..nothing under $2.00 at Pathmark supermarket
here.

You can always make your own at home, even in a microwave. The instant
yeast from Gordon Food Service or some other supply house makes that
extra easy. Then you know what is in it. It goes very quickly.

The problem with home-made bread is that you sit down and eat the whole loaf
before it cools :-(

Not all of us are such gluttons.
I just cut the dome off the new vertical loaf and have
that as an open sandwitch with salami, relish and lettuce.
OTOH the most obese person by far that I know personally does just what you say.

There are two possibilities: (1) You bake often enough that it's no longer a
novelty; (2) You are one of those people who can stop eating before the food
is gone; (3)...

Gobbling a whole loaf of bread just means that you can't eat anything else that
day, and possibly the next depending on how much butter you use :-)
